Between new LED bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs or bulbs that tend to disappear like halogen and incandescence, it does not hurt to have a little reminder about the advantages and disadvantages of each.

A less expensive alternative to LEDs: compact fluorescents

The compact fluorescent bulb remains a good alternative to the LED since it consumes less than incandescence and halogen. However, compact fluorescent bulbs produce a large number of electromagnetic waves and are therefore not recommended for short-distance use (less than 30cm). They should not be used for desk or bedside lamps. In addition, they have mercury and therefore must be thrown in specialized bins for the recycling of this type of bulb.
